This week for Cybersmart we had to make a poster of ten of our favourite shortcuts. I hope this helps. My favourite shortcut copy and paste and screenshot. These keyboard shortcuts are quick ways to get to a website or place on your device.
I definitely recommend using some of these because it is much easier doing anything.

Yesterday we did a Narrative, but we had to contin ue an introduction of one. It was hard to find ideas of how the dinosaur would act or say. My dinosaur was a herbivore and he only eats trees so that was why he was so friendly.
You all can have a read of it. Let me know what I should add!
The dinosaur scales were round and felt like rocks. Isla wasn’t afraid of the creature, instead she liked the creature. She fed it lots of greenery and the dinosaur loved her. Isla’s mom then called her home for brunch. “Bye!’ said Isla.
The dinosaur followed her home. “Ahhh what’s that?” Said Isla’s mom. Isla then looked behind, that’s my little friend she said with a magnificent smile on her face. “Little friend?!” her mom says “you mean big friend?” The little girl then ate her food then raced along the path.
She whistled for the dinosaur and then heard some big stomps. “Ahh there you are!” she said. “Won’t you come into the dark forest and play with me?” Isla said. So they went to play in the scary dark forest not knowing what was in there. As they went in the leaves crackled under Isla’s yellow boots. “Let’s play hide and seek,” Isla said.
They separated soon after and then they lost each other. Isla knew it was getting late and. The wolves howled as she walked on the mud and leaves. She raced along the muddy path then, she saw three big carnivore dinosaurs. She ran as fast as she could back along the muddy path, until she saw her friend.
“Help!” she desperately yelled. Her dinosaur friend pushed her as far as he could then the dinosaurs came for him. He got hurt badly then fainted. “Noo!” cried Isla, but it was too late already. She had that that he passed but he just fainted. She was then about to leave with a very upset face, then he woke up. “What a miracle!” she said. From that day they never went into the deep forest ever again.

Kia Ora, last week we had to analyse one of our class artists work. She mainly does tiki’s so we analysed them. I found it pretty fun looking at all the details of her work. It was hard to realise what the bee things were. we looked at all parts like the flowers, the candies and the New Zealand items\food

Here is my story.
During the holidays we got a dog whose name was Hugo. He is a Cane Corso, we got all his food, toys and information. We noticed we still had to get him Vaccinated. So we booked an appointment at Greenlane vets. 15 days later it was the day to go to the vet. When we went into the waiting room we heard lots of dogs and cats whining. Before we went in the room to get the vaccine our dog got weighed before coming in.
The veterinarian checked his eyes, ears, mouth and nose. After that she gave him the vaccine and told us his diet, what he cannot eat and how he should be exercised. When he was done with his checkup we enrolled him into a puppy training school for the 15th of February and now he is going today. A few minutes later the vet gave us a bag with treats and a leash then we put Hugo on his leash and then went home.

The past week we have been studying the treaty of Waitangi we read the article about it and we got to work. We made some slides about it and how the treaty made a huge impact and other things. I found it quite hard to understand the treaty.
It was very fun making the true or false pick a path about the treaty of Waitangi. Here are the slides I made.

Today my class did the SLJ step up. We had to make our superheros rival. My rivals name for my superwoman is Leana. They will be friends in the end. Lets see my comic strip!
This week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we did coding. First we coded the dog and in return the dog gets a treat and a high five. So we taught Whaea Terri’s dogs (Bonnie and Clyde) to roll, sit, give us a handshake, twirl and walk with two feet. It was really fun and the dogs were so cute.
Next we tried out this site called Craiyon and made our own superhero, to make it we typed in some keywords about how we want them to look. My superhero’s name is Jennica. I have wrote a list about her.
We also did Turing tumble it is a physical game with pieces and you have to get the tiny balls at the bottom by using some pieces to code them down. we had a notebook with all the instructions and directions to help us get there. we were in groups of 3-4 and my group got up to level 3.
The next thing we did was a moral machine. We checked out the website and on the website there was a scenario. The scenario was self-driving cars and who to kill. It may sound weird, but it is reality. It would give scenarios of like run over these 5 people crossing the street or the 2 people in the car. It showed lots of types of people like athletes, homeless people, doctors, babies, children and more. I’m pretty sure every autopilot car is supposed to stop at a pedestrian or at least sense that there are people walking and stop.

The Magical White Rabbit
It was a sunny morning, I saw my mum packing all our bags and my dad taking my siblings luggage into the car. I asked my dad “where are we going?”
“I’m sorry Claire,” he said, “we are moving to a new place.” I was very sad that we were moving and I didn’t know why. When my siblings and I went in the car it was a very long way to our destination. I smelled the cow poop as we drove into the countryside.
It was a sunny morning, I saw my mum packing all our bags and my dad taking my siblings luggage into the car. I asked my dad “where are we going?”
“I’m sorry Claire,” he said, “we are moving to a new place.” I was very sad that we were moving and I didn’t know why. When my siblings and I went in the car it was a very long way to our destination. I smelled the cow poop as we drove into the countryside.
When we got there we went into our new house and it wasn’t anything like our old house. All my siblings were happy, but I wanted to go back to the city. “At least we have a farm dog,” said dad. “I just don’t get why we left,” I said to dad as I stormed off. “You knew it was getting expensive where we lived, Claire” said mum. I went into the forest next to our house to get some peace and quiet, until.
I saw a cute white rabbit laying on the leaves. I went to follow it, but I stepped on a crunchy leaf and it woke up. I followed the rabbit, then I saw a small door inside the bushes. My siblings were calling me to have lunch, but I opened the door.
Next thing I find myself getting sucked into the portal. “Ahh!” I screamed. A few minutes later I see a magical world with mystical birds chirping, mythical flowers, fairies and a beautiful castle. I observed everything around me and explored.
Until I started to have a weird feeling. “ I wanna go home,” I said to one of the fairies. The fairy started to laugh towards me. “Once you come here there is no turning back,” she said. I was so shocked when I heard her, I started to feel guilty and stressed. “How do I get out?” I said. I looked into every bush, I even tried looking for the white rabbit I saw earlier. Just when I was gonna break into tears a sweet looking lady came to me and said “ are you okay my dear?”
“I wanna get out of here” I said. The lady brought me into her house and gave me a sweet cup of hot cocoa. She opened a secret door inside her house and I thanked her so much because it was the exit.
I went out and back to my home and hugged my mom and dad so hard.
