Pixel Art

Using a piece of media to create art (Pixel Art)

Kia Ora viewers and bloggers today we did some tutorials for Cybersmart and I picked Pixel Art. I learnt how to make the grid smaller in google sheets. My favourite part was colouring the squares. It was challenging to size the squares on the grid. It was also hard following the tutorial, but then I did split screen.

The tutorial helped me learn how to size grids and make a Pixelart and turns out it isn’t as hard as it looks. What didn’t help me learn was there were many other easy ways to delete the columns, but it was a hard way.

Any suggestions for my next pixel art?

Here is the tutorial I used.

Bye everyone, See you next time!

Corban art estate trip

One Wednesday my class went on a trip and I made a recount about it.

One Wednesday, rooms 8 and 9 went to West Auckland and met two ladies and called Whaea Penny and Whaea Molly. We were focusing on Tuarangi. That means food from the sky. What we did for that was birds, trees and berries. It was so hard to shade the bird’s colors together to get that realistic look. Soon after I started colouring the leaves and they didn’t turn out as good as the mango looking berries.  Did you know that if you ate the seed of this fruit they say you can be paralyzed, But Māori people had ways of eating it. Finally it was morning tea and the teachers gave us snack packs with pretzels, muffins and popcorn. After morning tea it was so fun and Whaea Penny showed a natural water clay paint that was so fun to paint on the black paper so that we could reveal the beautiful night sky. It was time to go back to school. The best part in my opinion was shading the mangos.
